Micah Parsons Misses Game Against Cowboys in October

Micah Parsons, the Green Bay Packers edge rusher, did not make his season debut in October against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, and he is still not ready to return to practice following last season’s torn ACL. Despite having cleared the necessary four-week recovery period where players must sit out, and the possibility of resuming practice after Week 2, Parsons’ return to field action has not been scheduled yet. Packers coach Matt LaFleur mentioned that while Parsons’ rehabilitation intensity has increased, he awaited medical clearance before allowing Parsons to practice.
In addition, Parsons had hoped for a comeback against the Cowboys in Week 6, but complications in his recovery postponed his return. LaFleur emphasized the extensive testing and adjustments needed before clearing Parsons for active play, indicating a cautious approach to bringing him back post-injury. General Manager Brian Gutekunst also highlighted the importance of maintaining Parsons’ condition for the latter part of the season, describing the player as a significant asset to the team.
